Combine data from several databases, on a schedule

What you design on the Join Canvas becomes a real table in your database, kept up to date on the schedule you set.

What it does, who uses it, when

  • The result is a real table

Choose the target connection, schema and table name. Anyone can open it in the Data Explorer, or point your BI tool at it.

  • Nobody sees half a result

Replace mode writes to a staging table and swaps it in at once; append mode keeps adding rows each run.

  • Set it and forget it

Every hour, every night at 02:00, Monday to Friday at 08:00, every Monday at 06:00, or your own cron, in Thailand time. Pause any time.

  • Reports to the people who need them

Each run can send CSV, Excel or Parquet files, or a report in your template (PDF, Excel, Word), to several destinations: kept in Ruamhub, email, SFTP, S3 and shared folders (SMB). Files over 10 MB go by email as a download link.

How it works

Set the target

Pick the target table and how to write: replace the whole table, or append.

Run or schedule

Press Run now, or pick a schedule to run it for you.

Follow the runs

Pipeline Runs shows status, rows written, duration and the error of failed runs, and exports to CSV.

A real task

Works well with

  • Join Canvas

Drag tables from different databases or Excel files onto a canvas, join, filter and group them, and see the result right away.

  • Report templates

Design report pages in bands, like Crystal or Jasper, with tables, sub-reports, totals, a logo and Thai fonts, and let a pipeline send them as PDF, Excel, Word or an image in the email.

Frequently asked questions

How many pipelines can run on a schedule?

It depends on the plan: Free runs by hand only, Dev schedules up to 3 pipelines, Pro is unlimited. Runs per month are 30, 500 and 10,000.

How do I know a run failed?

Status, error messages and the result of every report destination appear on Pipeline Runs and on the pipeline itself. There are no email or chat alerts for failed runs yet.

Can I write to a read-only connection?

No. A read-only connection can be a source, but the target must be writable, such as a separate reporting database.
